I will try to describe the best way that I can. I got a 2003 GLE. So I have a rough start up when I start the car. When the car starts at the beginning right after cranking its like the whole car shakes, its for about 1 sec. Then when I turn the key and it shuts down the same thing happens. As the engine is shutting off the whole car shakes lasting about 1 second. My aunt has a 2000 SE and when I went to start it and shut it down it was soo smooth you did not feel a thing. I have 65000 KM and still the orginal spark plugs. Change the air filter regurlary, and just recently changed it less then a year ago. Anyone have an idea why its doing this.

I say motor mounts are bad.

 

hmmm, mine does it too and it has 65k miles on it. But its not really severe
