wheels from 92 Max fit?

Just about to get 2001 ae max. Few snow tires exist around here due to new Quebec law requiring snows.

1. Can I put the (stock) "sawtooth" rims (with snow tires) from my 92se on to the 2001 20th anniv. max? I think they're both 5 bolt, and as I understand it, the 02/02s are the ones with the bigger brakes that could be a problem.

2. Is it an issue that the 92 max have 15" and the 01 should be running 16" winters. (of course it has low profile 17" summers on it now....)

bolt pattern

They are both 5 bolt- anyone know if the bolt spacing is the same... or if the discs on a 2001 will scrape on stock sawtooth rims from a 1992 se?

My 00 has 15" Steelies on it now. I dont think the 01's had any difference in rotors or anything. So i'd say 15's will fit. One of our NYC members has 3rd gen wheels on his 02 as well

odometer, speedometer off

I wonder if running with 15" wheels will affect the above? ... I guess it has more to do with tire height?

That's not possible unless he down sized to 00-01 11" rotors! The 02-03 11.75" are super close as the 00-01 16" 5 spoke wheels! I know the 15" er will not fit
