Weird annoying suspension noise

I’ve got this weird suspension noise. It only happens when I turn the wheel all the way, right or left and hit a bump. It’s like a nasty squeak/rub. I am lowered on Progress/ stock struts (I know.. big no no but its temporary). Any ideas of what it could be.

The strut mounts if they come apart from the rubber, there is this annoying squeaking sound. I would confirm by turning the steering colmn all the way doing steering locks while the vehicle is parked.

I had a strut mount fail a few weeks ago and had the same issue that you detailed in the thread. BTW if the mount came off the rubber, the only way to remove the spinning hat bolt is using an impact wrench. Good luck.

My guess is that it's your wheel bearing and/or hub. I had the same issue on my 02.
The TSB doesn't apply so, I wouldn't expect any help from the Stealership.

Just my .02.

The OP just posted directly before you and even before that a few posts up that he's already found the problem to be the steering bump stops.
