Indeed, that will be my course of action
However, it's two-fold. No shipping in one hand, state tax in the other
It's cool though. My mechanic is about 20 mins away from him too. I plan on getting a pulley installed and then picking up the exhaust.

Hmm, I will be away on vacation until the end of the third week. Now I will not be able to enjoy my vacation in anticipation of knowing what will be waiting at home!

Yes. I talked to Brian and both him and I seem to be vacationing around the same times (2nd and 3rd week of July). So, at latest, we're looking toward the last week of July (3 weeks).
I plan on dynoing my car for the first time once I get my Ultra Sc pully installed. I'll also make sure to get soundclips of the 3" + testpipe + headers + y-pipe for everyone.

Yep, we're planning to ship these 3" systems by the end of next week, before I go on vacation. We'll be closed 20-28 July, open again on the 29th.
I think that once a batch of these are out there, it will be a popular part.
Interestingly, we offered the choice of including or not including a resonator and 80% of our customers decided to include the resonator. The other 20% seems to be for turbo'd applications (which is the only time we recommend leaving the resonator out).
I've still got about three 3" systems that aren't committed, give us a call if you haven't ordered already.

No, I won't have any pictures of the finished product until its... finished. ;-)
Picture our standard catback. The only difference is slightly fatter tubing and a clamped slip-fit connection where the rear-section goes over the rear axle.

IDK Wyche...I don't think it's exactly like his, just similar. Pretty curves nice fat tube...God, that sounds like gay **** - sorry. But if it's like the 2.5" as brian said then I'm sure it follows the OEM path of up and over, just bent properly. Just a guess though. Are you thinking you got jacked? If I remember right you had a local shop complete yours, didn't you?

Over the rear axle (a close fit, to say the least):
Sadly I don't have any better pics of it.

well yeah, i got jacked simply because the shop gave me crush bends instead of mandrel like they said.. and yeah ii'm sure brian's does follow the OEM path.. mine goes up and over the axle as well.. but in dues' pictures, his went under the spare tire well.. that's obviously an easier bend for the shop that did his, and they were able to do mandrel that way.. and i was wondering if he had any scraping issues doing it that way.. because if not, i might consider having mine re-done that way
The A34 has a lot more space available there due to the IRS.
#225
Mine follows the OEM path of the right side exhaust (remember OEM is dual exhaust. It does not go under the spare tire area. I have had no problems dragging at all. Contrary to what others might think, there is no loss of torque. It did take the car a bit of time to get used to it.

i hope that myth has been de-bunked by now.. mine only took a couple days to feel the power difference... which was pretty big according to my butt dyno.. definitely equal to if not more than the headers/y-pipe combo
#228
I have high hopes for the performance of this catback as well, although I can't see how it would equal the header/y-pipe system we sell. That system is dyno-proven many times to make 22-26whp on a 02/03 Maxima VQ35DE. I would be astounded if the 3" catback did that well, but we'll see.
I'll be just as interested to see where the power is made in the RPM range, should be interesting.
BTW, there are still a few of these systems available, so order up!

Well the one dyno that Merlyn had showed I believe a 18whp gain over a 2.5" cat-back system? I was going from stock piping to 3", so I wouldn't be surprised if I gained over 20. I could be mistaken, but I did feel more of a power difference with the 3" exhaust than I remember with the headers/y-pipe. For me the difference was very noticeable throughout the RPM band. Plus your 3" is mandrel bent whereas mine is crush, so yours probably makes more power than mine! lol.

You're lucky I joined the army and now live in NC. Not only is it a lot to ship, I'll probably be one of the last to receive. I miss So Cal.
I hate you soooo much right now bragger.
