How do you take off front and back side markers?

How do you take off front and back side markers?
I just sold my 4th gen and picked up a 5th gen. I am looking to tint spray my front and back side markers. I tryed to take them off with a flathead but messed up the paint a little bit. This is a newbie question, how do you take them off? Thanks

Yeah, I asked the same question before I realized it;s in the owners manual. It;s easier than you think.
