Raybestos pads/rotors

Anyone had success with Raybestos rotors before? Looking to replace my pads with raybestos ceramics and rotors. Wanted to get brembo blanks but I can only find the rears on the internet..(tirerack,rockauto) not carrying the brembos for the fronts anymore. discontinued... They are replacing them with Centric?? Raybestos rotors any good???

Not quite 2 years ago I went 0 for 2 as far as satisfactory sets of Brembo blank front rotors for my 20AE was concerned (in both sets there was visible thickness variation in the rotor faces and heavy vibration under braking that got worse with use rather than better). Third time with ATE Slotted (might have been the 'PremiumOne' line, don't recall offhand but could look it up) was ultimately successful.

That didn't answer the question at all!

I'm wondering the same thing. I'm gonna do brakes this weekend and I don't see any problem why Raybestos rotors wouldn't work.

Any confirmation?

I have no experience with Raybestos specifically with respect to the 5th gen Max, but I figured that a little direct experience with the Brembos might explain the apparent difficulty in finding them (and why you should just avoid the front B's anyway), as well as listing a known good alternative.

I've never had bad luck with Raybestos pads and shoes (and I think rotors and possibly drums) on other cars. But especially after you get the least bit of heat into Hawk HPS pads they are so much better. IOW, the Ray's are certainly OK, but there's better to be had if you use the brakes pretty hard from time to time.

Here's a group buy for the rotors:

I picked up powerslot front rotors and brembo rear slotted for my 2002 with the deluxe plus pads (should also be on that group buy) and had no problems. Real strong pedal feel.
