Slave Cylinder Install

Slave Cylinder Install
I'm encountering a problem after installing a new slave cylinder. The pedal will either stay at the top and when pressed it springs to the bottom, almost like a switch there's no in between. I've been bleeding the clutch properly, and after pumping it 50-70 times, it builds up very slight resistance towards the firewall. I can see movement at the slave cylinder but not nearly enough to get the car into gear.
Could there be another problem I'm not seeing? There's plenty of fluid and no leaks in the lines. Could there be a problem with the pressure plate that's not allowing the slave cylinder rod to fully extend? Or is there adjustment on the pedal itself that could help? Thanks for any insight.

Also, I had to replace the slave right after I replaced the master, so you may as well go ahead and do both while youre in there.

It was something to the affect of, bleed it as best you can (maybe put a couple cans of DOT 3 through there) and once you tighten the bleeder screw, it builds up pressure pretty quick by pumping the pedal. If I remember right, he said something about a coil line, and thats how it's designed. It doesnt bleed like any other clutch/brake system I have ever bled.
I hope that helps =/. Give Dave B a call if you cant get it going.
