what do you mean loosing OD? Are you sure its not just your car downshifting or coming out of OD to get more power?

try resetting the ecu to see if that changes anything....when it "comes out of overdrive" does the O/D light come on?

Well it happens about 30 minutes into a ride on the highway,Doing 75-80 I know I drive fast. There is a bang and the RPMs shoot up to 40.000 instead of like 28.000 .I can feel it dragging. No Overdrive light comes on but I know for sure there is no overdrive.I am wondering if it is a heat issue because it takes 30 minutes to happen.I did change the radiator about a month ago and wondering if I got a bad one.But I am open to other ideas.
