Yah... I usually don't give away this kind of info for free, but since it's on Maxima.org I WILL!!! What you need to do is gather up all of the remotes you have and get into your car. Once you're in the car, push the door lock button on the door to lock all doors. . You'd also be asked to bring ALL your keys for registration since this procedure erases all previous registrations first. Unregistered key, even with the chip, doesn't allow you to start the engine.Mike.

If any one needs 2000 or 2001 remotes please e-mail me at igor911@home.com. I have 2 remotes for a 2000 max and 1 for a 2001 max. They go for 50.00 at the dealer, I'll sell them for 30.00 + shipping.
