Yah... I usually don't give away this kind of info for free, but since it's on Maxima.org I WILL!!! What you need to do is gather up all of the remotes you have and get into your car. Once you're in the car, push the door lock button on the door to lock all doors. Once the doors are locked, take your key and stick it in and out of the ignition realy slow until your turn signals flash on the dash. Then take one remote and hit the lock button on it. Once thats done, hit the door lock on the door to open the door and then lock it and then push the lock button on the other remote. Lock the doors and open them and then the next remote... and soo forth! That sould work on all NISSAN'S. THAT'S WHAT THE DEALER CHARGES $100 FOR.

Your Welcome!

Remote Programming

I'm not sure if my technique works on aftermarket Nissan remotes. I have tested it on OEM only! Give it a shot and tell me if it works.

The key is completely different story, I think. They contain special chip wich has unique id inside and needed to be registered with the car's ECU on the dealers equipment . You'd also be asked to bring ALL your keys for registration since this procedure erases all previous registrations first. Unregistered key, even with the chip, doesn't allow you to start the engine.

Remotes

If any one needs 2000 or 2001 remotes please e-mail me at igor911@home.com. I have 2 remotes for a 2000 max and 1 for a 2001 max. They go for 50.00 at the dealer, I'll sell them for 30.00 + shipping.
