vac leak?? pics

vac leak?? pics

so i had my tranny rebuilt over a year ago and i put an maf adaptor and filter in and at some point in time this was either disconnected or something. my car when its warm usually only starts when i hit the gas some now it used to do it here and there now its almost every time the cars warmed up. what does this connect to? http://s612.photobucket.com/albums/t...=1244139950427 heres another pic http://s612.photobucket.com/albums/t...t=vacleak2.jpg the battery,starter and alternator are all new is this vac line my problem?

If I'm correct, I believe that's just a breather for the transmission and it doesn't have to be connected to anything...at least mine isn't anyway

thats sick thanks guys! now i gotta figure out why its acting up with no codes?? maybe bad plugs? i havent changed them at all had the car 3 years and i highly doubt the were changed before i had it its got 139k on the clock it had 85k when i got it.

sounds like you just might wanna do a small overhaul. plugs,oil filter,fuel filter,tranny flluid drain.

im going to do the oil n filter plugs n wires and the fuel filter to be safe the tranny fluid was just done recently i should be all set after these it could be a combo of them causing my problem thanks again

That's the tranny breather, don't worry about it, if you suspect a vac leak, spray starter fluid around the intake and lines, if idle changes, then you have a leak somewhere, also keep water handy, since its flammable.
