Headlight conversion 2000 to 2002

I came across some stock headlights from a 2002 Max for a crackhead price (minus the HID's) is there any modification I need to do to make these fit my 2k or will they plug right in?

I know aftermarket HID's are PnP, Im specifically referring to the headlight housing itself!

they should bolt rite up as far as i know, it will take up more of that horrid gap between the bumper and headlights that the 2k n 2k1's have

Exactly. It's best to find someone selling OEM. Then you need the clips and wiring harnesses, some heat-shrink butt connectors and you're good to go!

OK I get HALF the info, so that half the battle!!

Finally got the headlights ordered (drivers side from egay & pass side from CL) ordered the clips and wiring harness from Dave B.

Whats the deal with the connections thou??

Seems like org'ers are keeping the 2000 to 2002 connection conversion write-up on the low low b/c of thieft. Can someone help me out?

I read one thread where dude posted up his acual paypal transaction to get these instructions, are we still this protective of this info?

Dunno if you can change your thread title but it should read 2000 to 2002, most are probably like why would you want to go from 2002 to 2000.

I'm guessing that you will need to either modify the H4 bulb to fit the HID pad or vice/versa...The H4 bulb used in the 00-01 has 3 tabs on it's base. The HID bulb have several grooves where it fits into the bulb mounting pad. Thier base circle diameter are close but I Think the HID base is smaller. Why are you trying to use a halogen bulb in a HID housing...I'm unsure? I hope it has more intensely spread out light coverage in front of the vehicle since that's where the HID housing concentrates the beam...GL!

Hi I am interested in doing the same thing but have NO IDEA of how to go about it. Did you have difficulties installing the 02 headlight assemblies in your 2000? Where did you find your headlights if you dont mind me asking? They are really expensive.
