help to disable keyless entry/trunk?

Hey just wondering if anybody knows how you can disable the keyless entry and trunk open with key fob. I have new locks on my car since it was stolen but still nervous to leave it outside because I havent had the keyless reprogrammed by the nissan dealer yet.

Is there a fuse you can pull so keyless entry wont work? I dont have the panel cover for my kickpanel fusebox because its at a friends house along with most of my dash... Can somebody tell me which fuse to pull or take a picture of your inside fuse box diagram? (it should be a sticker on the inside of the panel cover)

Thanks!

You can always try the reprogramming procedure. If I remember correctly you have to go in the car press the lock button that's on the door panel then you gotta insert and take out your key like 7-15 times (I forget) in 10 secs. Not too sure but that will erase the remotes that are set up to it

Just re-program the remote, but your going to have to do it about 5 times. The car can use close to 5 remotes. Everytime you program one remote it erases the first one. So if you keep doing it with the same remote, the one that got stolen won't work anymore.

Thats what I would do, because the remote comes in handy a lot of the times. Also you can re-program it yourself, don't go to the dealer, took me like 30 seconds to re-program the remote.

I'm pretty sure you can just reprogram your keyless entry by yourself. I'm certain its in the driver's manual how to do it and it would save you a trip to the dealer. I've done it before when I got a new fob. It's really simple

Just use the valet switch in the trunk located on the latch assembly and pull the 10 amp room lamp fuse to stop the keyless entry from working

Don't go to the dealer to get a remote programmed. Here's how...

How to Program The 5th Gen Maxima OEM Alarm Key Fob Remote

---------------------------------------------------------------

To program the remote(s) follow this procedure.

1. Unlock all doors and get in car.

2. Close and lock all doors with power door lock switch on driver's door.

3. Insert the ignition key and completely remove it at least 6 times
within 10 seconds. The hazard warning lamps (both turn signals) will
then flash twice and all previous codes will be cleared.

4. Turn ignition key to "ACC" position.

5. Push any button on the new remote control key fob once. At this time,
the car learns the new ID code. The hazard warning lamps (both turn
signals) will then flash twice.

If you are programming just one remote, go to step 10.
If you need to activate additional remote controllers, continue with Step 6.

6. Manually unlock the driver's door only then lock again with door lock
****.

7. Push lock button on the additional remote controller once.

8. Hazard warning lamps (both turn signals) will then flash twice and
additional remote is programmed.

9. For additional remotes, go back to step 6.

10. When done, open the driver's door to exit programming state.

NOTE: A maximum of 4 remotes can be programmed to any ONE car.
