UTEC Installed
Might be a stupid question but can anybody verify the pin-outs to prevent this issue?
That is the exact issue I am having. With the gas pedal depressed to the floor, the car revs very slowly and then hits a limiter around the 2k rpm range. I assumed it had something to do with my set-up so i adjusted the 0% collumn to compensate for the bigger injectors. However that did not fix the issue.

turn the car ON, but engine not running. plug laptop up to UTEC go to dashboard.
see what the throttle % says i SHOOULD be around 0% its possible to be 1, 2, 3, 4, % due to calibration.
IF its 0% press the gas pedal and it should go up accordingly all the way to 100%.
if thats not the case there is not need to even crank the engine.
I ALWAYS checked this before ever attempting to crank a car with a Utec plugged in.

Since this is the most informative utec thread 'round here I wanted to add the updates from my350z
1: There is a DBW update in the software, if you have your wiring on point & still have a problem look into this (I might post link later)
2: some people were having problems in the 4K+ rpm range, massive drop in power etc resulting from noise to the injectors, (not to be confused with momentary hiccups from overly sensitive knock count). On the back of the utec there is a 12 pin molex connector with a red & black wire coming out of it, you need to ground that black wire to a nice separate chassis ground.
