Need a bit more information, such as did the ABS light just come on while you were driving? or did the ABS light come on when you first started the car and stay on? Have you done any recent work on the brakes or suspension and possible pinched the line?

Try and give as much detail as you can.

I have had the sensor light come while driving on a previous car (not a Max), and the simple reset is to pull over and put the car back into park and turn the engine off, and then restart the car to allow the slow reporting sensor to report back to the ECU. I have also heard from some of the guys that the sensor was simply covered with dirt and road crap and needed to be wash down and then was working fine.

there is a long procedure to reset the light AFTER you repair the problem. You have to drive at a certain speed for a certain amount of time, then read the code then ground one of the pins on the obd2 port and the code will clear. it is a pita. or go to the dealership after the problem is fixed and pay them to clear it

that grinding noise probably means the abs light is on for a reason

take a short wire and touch the 8 pin and the 9 pin by the looks of it, but the port is female so there are no pins...

mine just came on today without an apparent reason, i just started the car after being parked all day and the light was on, i tried shutting the car off and pulling the key out to see if that would reset it but it didnt work, i just did some work on my e break so im assuming something went wrong with that!

edit: i need a new sensor
