rough start, blinking CEL

the last few days my engine start has been a little rough in the mornings.
today it was a little rougher then the last couple of days to the point my steering wheel was shaking, after a minute or so i pulled out of my drive way and drove very slow, after a minute or so the CEL started blinking and the shaking got a little worse, after about 2 or 3 minutes it stopped, engine reached operating temp and it smoothed out....
whats wrong??

Since I'm bored sitting here at work, I'm gonna go ahead and type up what 53 other .org members haven't, and I don't blame them one bit:

Read that thread, your answer lies in there.

When that happened to my I30 years ago, replacing all the coils did the trick.

Exactly what I had to do. New coils and also replaced spark plugs and front and rear valve covers. Oil getting to plugs causing coils and plugs to get fouled up...

well id been thinking of replacing the spark plugs for some bosch plat. and replacing the coils, but the cars only got 74k miles, so id thought id wait. i read somewhere original spark plugs are 100 or 150k miles...

it only did the misfire that morning though, ive been driving it the last few days and its been fine.

How much are coils typically? Those are the spark plug holders, right?
