HID help

Ok so after searching the stickies and the rest of the forum I can't seem to find what I am looking for.

I have a 2000 max and want to install HID in the fogs and heads. I am new to this and want to know how difficult it is, as well as the best (preferably cheapest) kits to get, and if there is a how to (google turned up nothing on this either). Sorry if this is a newb question but I rearely do much to my max and like to fix this before the winter. Thanks in advance.

www.ddmtuning.com, or if you want the real good stuff, buy Philips kits.

I want aftermarket (no offense to anyone) but the 02/03 lights on the 01/00 front ends look cheesy to me.

they're really easy to install, there are plug-n-play kits too...

all you do is remove the stock bulb, then install the HID bulb and connect the headlight connector to the ballast and done...

i'd suggest getting a dual light kit

ddm and hid extra are both good my brother bought and installed headlight and fogs from ddm and they came out great. i have bought 2 sets of hids from hidextra and they work great, the only issue i did have was on the maxima i had to get a relay b/c my high beams didnt work and it would flicker i dont know if anyone else has had this issue. but after i contacted hid extra and told them what was going on the set me a relay for free and that sloved my issue.

I am looking at this kit. 55w for the ehads and 35w for the fogs..is that about right? Do i need the dual harness? and the error code a guaranteed thing?

http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/Ap...Raptor-HID-Kit

also i understand you plug the original plug into the ballast then the ballast into the bulb, but how does the bulb sit in the lamp? or does it fit into the original outlet? Sorry for the newb questionS

Need help for headlight bulb replacement

I just became member and not allow to post new thread, so posting my question here instead of starting new thread.

I have 2005 SE model and need to change passenger side low beam bulb. I read one headlight thread and compiled few questions based on that.

1. 9006 should work, but its light is not powerful as original, Do you suggest any specific brand for brighter light?
2. Would 9012 work without changing any other assembly? If I have to change other parts, what would be the cost?
3. Can I go with HID-D2S? Since I have only halogen lighting system, do I need to change the whole system? and how much is the cost?

Thanks.
