Just a quick question, I'm doing HID conversion on my 2000, just wondering where you usually put them ballasts ?

One in the Ashstray, the other one in the glove compartment and I cut one in a half and put it in the sunglass tray. Taped the other half under the sunroof vizor.

When I did have HIDs for the headlamps, I had one ballast directly in front of the coolant bottle on the pass. side, and the drivers side was right in front of the battery. It's been awhile since i took them out so I can't remember. Just place them where you have enough room.

When I put the HIDs in my fogs, I placed them on the bumper frame.

on the driver side i have mine under the airbox/battery box and on the passenger side i have mine beside the radiator on the radiator support. not easily seen unless i show where it is. i need to do something with teh wires though to make it a little cleaner.

Mcsteve ... there are gazillion topics being repeated, asked and Re-asked everyday in this forum (or any forum). You must know that the search engine sometimes not really giving you what you search for...besides, I"m not asking how to clean the carburetor on the VQ here...but thanks anyway for the links.
