Are you stock or do you have an intake or aftermarket y-pipe?

2K2 SE 6speed:
3,261 pounds
255 hp @ 5800 rpm
ft/lb torque 246 @ 4400 rpm
0-60 in ???

2K2 S2000 6 speed
2,810 pounds
240 hp @ 8300 rpm
ft/lb torque 153 @ 7500 rpm
0-60 in 6 secs

Above is just FYI. Stats taken from the respective company's websites. Does anyone know what Nissan's claimed 0-60 time is?

All I heard was his engine screaming but he was nowhere to be found Mind you I have a 2001 SE 5sp so a 2K2 6sp would murder a S2000.
Ypou must have been spraying

LOL.

On the very top end, the S2000 will walk by me. From a midrange roll, I could usually get away. From a dead stop, the S2000, with its RWD and a high rpm (7500 rpm or so) would also take the lead.

That being said, if the S2000 driver is a wimp and doesnt drive it hard, hell lose. If driven hard and to its potential, I dont think a stock or lightly modded Max, 2002 model or not, will be able to take one. At least I havent seen any high 13 second @100 mph slips from any 2002 Max's (yet....)

when you got the jetchip, did you get it without getting any other mods? what kind of gains did you get?

I am very interested in the Jetchip. I had one on my Explorer and was very happy with it. How long have you had it installed? Did you notice any engine problems at all? Rough idle, drop in milege, etc.?

I got it a while after i had my intake and y-pipe. The difference was quite noticable above 100mph, and over 5000rpms. I have had it in for approximatly 5-6 thousand miles with no effects on the engine at all. The mileage got a little worse with the chip. I used to get close to 30 on the highway, now i get around 28 if i cruise at a constant 70 mph. (which i never do )

With 11 days off from work what is there to do; cruise the streets.

Well comming back form Holly's poolhall I happen to hit a light when a S2000 pulls next to me. Light turns green and I start rolling and start spinning to let em know I'm game. Well we take a left onto the service road and he starts jumping on it passing me to the on ramp. Downshift to 3rd and staying behind him at about 4k. Once I pass the cement barrier I go WOT. Topping 3rd I am passing him up. Shifting to 4th I am now ahead by a car but............ some **** pulled out in front of us so I will never know how far we could of gone.

Only bad thing about the race is my brother said it was an auto. Oh well a kill is a kill.

Vtec can't handle 255 of these.
yeah...S2000 only comes in manual..
