Looks good minus the rear section towards the doors.

Would look better if it lined up better with the back window and the top of the door.

Because black overlays DONT work on the 5th gen, there's no defining line in the rear pillar, it's too smooth, there's just no way to cut it in.

This is why they don't work.

All that aside, that's MY FAVORITE colour all out on the 5th gen, just gorgeous. Want to trade cars, I will fix that thing up.

Agreed.....There is nothing to do about the rear pillar issue, but all in all I think it looks pretty good.

This is my Favorite color too. I already have Injen CAI, Underdrive Pulley, and Greddy EVO2 installed.....just got done with my suspension, (tokico illuminas(3f/4r), Tien H-techs, Progress rear sway bar and FSTB, and Stillen RSTB, I still have some ES bushings to install.

Next project is Headers & Y-Pipe and maybe a lip kit.

Looks good. I choose to just follow the roof/door line all the way back seems to be the best

Yeah you could cut it man, I'd recommend it too. Use detergent free soapy water and liberally wet the area down then score it with a very sharp blade (sharp means it wont 'pull' on the vinyl, JUST cut). Just don't apply much pressure or you'll scratch the paint underneath.

Oh and Can I make a suggestion slightly OT? Get the G35 Sedan muffler or something to replace that Greddy muffler, it destroys the car, looks wayyy to ricer. Just my Opinion though. There are some really really nice looking mufflers that fit that exhaust and the maxima beautifully.

Just removed my sunroof wind deflector and was pleasantly surprised by some gnarly scratches underneath . Thought about maybe ordering one of these and the scratches may finally be my excuse. How much did the overlay cost? Was the install difficult? I've put on red taillight overlays but obviously that's a much smaller caliber job...

Maybe I will try cutting it this weekend. I have been thinking about my exhaust options lately because my precats are shot, so thinking of replacing with headers and Y-pipe, so might replace the Greddy while I am doing all that.

lol....I put mine on because of some bad oxidation....It was only $85 shipped. Install was pretty easy, did it by myself, here is a link to help with the install http://auto.badtziscool.com/how-tos/...-roof-overlay/
