Had P0430, then it went away

Hey .org so I pulled my first code! The infamous P0430. Was driving along and SEL came on. Autozone pulled P0430. I forgot to ask him to reset as I was on the way to work so I drove around with it for about a week. I ordered the replacement CC Eastern 40387 on Saturday. It shipped on Monday and is in transit should be here Friday.

Yesterday the SEL went away. What else can I tell you. Got car with 93K I am at 107k fresh oil change 1600 miles ago. Immediately preceding the oil change I ran through a bottle of amsoil PI.

Any ideas? Should I send the part back?

Same thing happened to me back in April...I had the code for about 3 weeks got the funds up for the eastern pre-cat part 40387(from rockauto) ordered it and by the time it arrived the code went away so I sent it back. Then in early June code came back I waited a week and it stayed so I reset it twice and still came back. RE-ordered the same pre-cat replaced it and havent seen the code since.

I had the same issue 2 months ago and my car had about 68k on it when i got the same code. I took it back to the place i bought it and they apparently cleaned out the fuel injectors and the light hasn't come back on since then.
