wheel bearing??? help!
i don't think that's your bearing
To be sure, jack up the side where the noise is coming from. Grab the wheel at the 12 o'clock and the 6 o'clock position and see if it has any play in it. If it does then it's most probably your bearing.

also spin the wheel while its off the ground and listen for any grinding
Normally, a worn bearing will make your car sound like a skateboard that goes louder as speed increases. I had my bearing replaced twice in the last 9 months. The shop that did the first bearing job reused the warped and destroyed seal which **cked up it's lubrication within 3 months so I did the job myself.
It seems that the sound only occurs in a certain steering angle. Check your CV axle, pull out the pads and rotor, power steering fluid and pump, and wheel play.

I would also think it sounds like a brake dust shield that needs to be bent back out just a little, try inspecting that area first to see if it resolves the issue.
In most cases when a wheel bearing is going you will hear a humming noise that increases with you speed.

I finally stopped being lazy, and got the Max off of the ground, today. I could rock my front-passenger wheel, took it off, and it is definitely the bearing. I would definitely lift it, if you haven't yet, just to make sure. I got lucky, and I don't need a new tire.
