You can't just come on to my thread and call me an idiot and not explain why. Am I an idiot because I'm asking too much or not enough?

It says 2007+ onwards equals no more VQ35DE....
And who beleives Wiki? We all know the VQ35DE lives in all 02-08, and the VQ name still lives in the 09- present.

Just because of the turning radius? And you wont get the G because of the turning radius or what's the reason?

I think OP is scared of fuel burning issue... I thought this was a big issue with VQ35DE but the newer ones had fixed the issues so I said get newer G series.

I didn't like the turning radius in the Maxima, I didn't know if it was the same with the G? I honestly didn't think of the possible fuel problems that the VQ35 engine has.

You mean oil burning problem.

The only fuel burning problem is the amount of fuel burned per tank is proportional to the fervor in which the skinny pedal to the right gets pushed when driving

Finally, I got the Max inspected yesterday. I ended up replacing the cutoff valve, (white valve with 4 hose outlets) and got lucky that it solved my P1440. Looks like I'll be driving the Max for at least another year. It's approaching 200K miles, let's see if it makes it.

Its a really nice car. My buddy had it for two weeks, and I got to drive it couple times. It was really smooth.

I don't know what the miles are yet. I haven't looked at the car yet. I'm just trying to get opinions from people. There's a 06 G35 sedan that I found too.

And I don't know what DooDooChip is talking about, since this car is located in NH.

I just sold my Maxima and I bought a 2003 Toyota Celica GTS TRD. It's been great here, and I want to thank everyone for their help over the past two years.
