When I needed parts, I did some research where anecdotal evidence pointed me towards MOOG parts. And then my mechanic said, "Get MOOG" for things like end-links, ball-joints, etc. He also said "Get OEM" for stuff like wheel bearings.
Upgrade? Maybe, maybe not. Certainly different, what with the grease fitting and all.

I just have to hold off putting the 3" catback till after the dyno.
Then hrmm...... Spacers, Flywheel, Clutch, Pulley and 97+ Trunk for Maxus....
Then the red car hrmm.... Needs mounts, Headers, ECU, Fuel pump and a trip to the dealer before I start it....
Don't you mean they were a big upgrade to your worn or broken OEM parts? In which case, new OEM parts would have been a big upgrade, too.

Mastercraft vs. OEM.
Am I saying they perform better? No, not in the sense of I can corner harder, but in the sense of they would survive a few more track days? Yes.
That is true on wheel bearings, but I wasn't ballin hard enough, National (Autozone) is a damn good alternative because they are an OEM supplier for some companies from what I heard.

I've had moogs come loose, so have a lot of others, some have had them snap, which is something I've NEVER heard an OEM end link do in any car.
There's nothing wrong with them, really, I'd buy them without batting an eye. But they're still far from an upgrade.
Really, any end link is not an upgrade, same goes for wheel bearings and strut bearings, etc.

Yes when you make stuff out of shyttier steel it does need to be thicker

They're still how I installed them a few summers ago on the Red Devil.
I've heard OEM ones snap in the 5th gens and Moog as a replacement to solve that, that's where I got the wind of that notion.... Of course this was back in my noobish 5th gen days when I thought having a GAB was hot **** and a Y pipe was a "big mod".
Again, upgrade is being used relatively, anything that adds more laps to before something breaks on my car is an upgrade IMO.
the TE one? I already got a cluster, need a ECU and some engine mounts to start le car.

Bah. Just stopped at NTB to get an alignment. My front tires are shot thanks to the shoddy bushings Nissan used on the inner LCAs.
Oh well. I'm getting a six month warranty, which means a free alignment when I put my adjustable upper a arms on.

$110 + $3 for every alignment after for the life of the car.
Got about oh 8 alignments within 14 months.... Lets say they hate me, the shop near me tried to fck up my car... Lets just say i'm never going back there again... but the brake check near my house... coool. as. hellll. in ground alignment rack so when I'm praisin da lowered no scrapy scrape....
I also got lifetime wheel balancing... $40+ .50c for every wheel for the life of the car.
So far they've balanced 16 wheels for me
About to be 20 when the red car hits the road again.

Do they have Brake Checks where you live? If so I'd stop and go there and get a lifetime alignment.

Dirty *** Butler tire wants $130 or about that with some negotiations to balance, fill and mount my TSW wheels. Is it just me or is that absurdly expensive considering the machine does most of the work and all they really do is lift the tire onto the studs?

What do these tsw wheels you talking about look like

^ Tick tock... Tick Tock chocholatestraw....
You can hold off, the shop is going to some event this weekend, so I wont dyno until next Saturday (16th).
Also I gotta wait on Nmexmaxmanmanny to finish using his TP so I can buy it and put it on the white car before the intake showdown occurs.

Either way, let's see if it nets any gains after adding some timing + the test pipe, and i may even possible get the 3" flex pipe since mine is making my caw stinky as hell, damn exhaust smell.
Also, test pipes do net gain, from 3000-4500 RPM. Because racecaws. On all of my non test pipe'd dynos compared to my test pipe dynos, there's a nice increase in that area, 20 ft/lbs in some comparisons.
