You do realize that his motor/turbo set up is worth your entire car, right?

- Rev-up Cams (Still don't understand this one without the supporting mods)
- NWP block plate
- NWP intake spacers (don't remember if he has the whole kit or jus the LIM spacer)
- Cheap short-ram intake
- Port and polished UIM

I don't know if there was anything else. Do I believe him? Not really. I'd guess that he has half of this stuff.

Rev-up cams? yea, no way his car has those. I have rev up cams and they are not easy to install no way in hell clashez installed those.

port and polished UIM? Out of all the stupid and pointless mods i have heard, somebody ported and polished the UIM?

I think this is the incidence that will make me finally put the clown on the ignore list. Trying to put down what's probably the best done up 4th gen on this forum and say his turd mobile is better. It's too bad his stories about trade offers aren't true because it would right the universe if he traded that thing for a Honda from one of his local riceboys.

The ONLY reason I'd port and polish the UIM on my G35 is if I had the intent of gasket-matching it. Which I actually do, eventually. After I buy a Motordyne spacer, of course.

I'm trying to find ways to resolve the air starvation issues in the front two cylinders. The IM on the RWD VQ platforms is great and terrible at the same time.

I honestly wouldn't touch them. More color = less beam intensity. The MH1's aren't super intense to begin with and have decent color.

Oh, I know. I did my reading.

I just want a bit crisper of a cutoff. Unless the stock beam cutoff is that sharp?

It needs to be more than just a SN ban. They need to do a name AND IP ban on him.

He just needs to go back to the Honda forum where he belongs...

Nahhh.

No reason, 255s can go on there if things really get out of hand and that to me is too much tire for a Maxima.

245-40-17 is more than enough for me to bawss around corners.

If I need more than that then I need suspension work done.

If you want sharpness, you want less color. They're sharp enough though.

just a little tip im sure chrisman has a better method but when cutting the bottom of the shroud to fit the contour use a template and trace it on the shroud i ended up having to get a extra set

D2S' low beams don't perform as well as the H1's but have better high beam. I believe you can slide the shield down a millimeter or two to expose some more light for the low beam but not 100% sure. I also believe the D2S' are sharper than the H1's.

I wouldn't go with the Apollo's. They're a bit too "rugged" for the sleek G35 coupe headlights. I'd honestly go with full size Gatling Gun shrouds (not the V2's).

the shrouds were a bit long and needed trimming to fit the contour of the oe reflector.i must of dun summin really wron if trimming wasnt needed

Which shrouds did you go with? I don't remember. If they were the standard mini Gatling Gun shrouds, you shouldn't have had to trim anything.

Well, I don't plan on using the bi-xenon capability of them. I just want a set of projectors that fit easily into the G housings and have a clean, crisp look to them, so I may just lower the shroud a little if that's the case.

If I go with the Gatling, I was definitely looking at the full versions. I might see about wiring some LED's into my parking lights so that I can light up the vents around the edge as well.
