not that it couldnt be made for less, but here is why it wont be that much less... because you would be paying for someone elses labor reguardless... no if you had the resources to bend the pipes yourself then i think you can do it for way less

i dont know it might because the set i got from the first batch that had problems with alignment looked like they were rushed because you can still see some of the weld slag and where they buffed off the name on one header and not the other if the muffler didnt get buffed off i would know the name of the company but it does closley resemble this muffler made by a company in Jersey for BMW's

The piping on Cattman's/Hotshot's headers are not worth more than $300, price fluctuates w/ the market, when my friend had his custom set made the piping + flanges were $280 then $500 for the labor, then viola, a set of headers that are better than cattman.
