It probably won't go any lower than you have your car right now in your sig pic, and might be just a bit higher. I also plan on keeping the stock Se 17's, too. I might paint them white since my car is pearl white. I've always liked the look of white wheels on a white car.

Ok, cool. If you're going to hold onto a couple of sets for us delayed buyers, let me know. If all goes to plan, i'd like to buy a set in a couple of months. I would like to get my credit card paid down first. I don't want to run a high balance on my card.

What did you get for a quote? I went today & got one $490 from a place specializing in Auto rust repair. Guy knows his stuff & immediately knew the Max problem areas. Fabricates his own replacement parts on site from heavier than OEM gauge steel. They repair anything from imports, 4x4's & heavy equipment. While it's getting the rad support they'll go over the whole car & give me another quote for everything else including both rear 1/4 panel repairs.

Including replacing the radiator (which needs replaced) and a new radiator fan assembly (one fan quit) it's right at $1,000 and that's using factory OEM replacement parts. The rad and fan are aftermarket. The estimate also includes spraying the replaced areas with a rust inhibitor and another coat of paint to seal it all up.

The company I work for does contract work from this body shop, so I'm getting a break on the price.

They already have all the parts on order and I have my rental car reservation set up. I can't afford to have some shady shop do a halfazz job on it. I rather have it done right the first time for peace of mind, and also if I decide to sell the car I don't want any bad Karma on me knowing that.

That's not a bad price. Mine includes media blasting the adjacent areas, rust inhibitor, sealing inside & out with undercoating vs. paint. Thing that sold me was he knows Nissans. When he saw the Bob Sharp Nissan sticker on my car, he went all nostalgic and started telling stories of how he used to supply reinforced Z Car racing floor-pans to Bob Sharp & Paul Newman. Also cross-members for V8 swaps into Z Cars.

Yeah I love my ride height not to low but not jacked up ethier . It's not worth it to lose suspension travel and put constant pressure on the shocks and Cv's I won't go any lower my self jus going to lower the back to be even with the front..

Yeah white on white looks clean as fawk but keep the white wheels clean is pain but worth it lol....... gold ummm I dont know I kind of like it but I really don't think gold is your style.
I was going to do gold rims on my 4thgen I had and every girl including my wife told me it would look like a beaner car so I didn't do it

Funny you should mention that. I'm going for Mexican w/ my SysAdmin buddy. He was getting ready to deliver the new box, but in a strange twist of fate, realized it was the wrong MB (no floppy controller/connector) when I mentioned bringing the dual floppy pulled from this box. Good news is it's a beast. It doesn't slow down or heat up no matter what's thrown at it. But now waiting on the right MB. Ah well $hit happens!

Mmmm Parma! I won't mention any frutti di mare, just enjoy it Dude! You need to get a nice loaf of Italian bread cut off the culo about 6" long, hog it out & stuff it with the prosciutto, sharp provolone & peproncini slices. Buon Appetito!

Yeah, I'm kinda upbeat since I know it's being fixed better than OEM by an outfit that knows what they're doing. And whatever other rust they find is like no big deal to them, it's all fixable since they can fab anything needed.

A fancy Geo Storm. That RS is a rare car, and I haven't seen one in years. I wonder what parts availability on that would be now that it's over 20 years old...

Did some research on it and only 750 were imported to the U.S. and Canada. I'm sure most of them have been crashed or rusted away.
