A little irritated that Maxus 2012 was cut short. Planned to leave manana manana, but no dice. Apparently, the track day date was not updated on the website. Oh, well. I probably could have only beaten all the na 4th gens anyway.
We have the shelter at kenney Dell park for the entire day (10am until dusk) tomorrow...but I know I cna't really stay past 4pm. Others will likely have to leave around that time as well to get back to their houses (idaho, Oregon, etc) at a decent hour...some of us have to work Monday.
If you have to go to Seattle tomorrow night, then head down in the morning (like 10 hours form now) and hit Seattle on your way back.
cut short? that sucks. How big was the turnout? What did y'all do?
I'm not sure. It was planned for three days, and I could only go for one of them. It appears that final one got chopped for some reason. It's a little irritating, but I can see why there is such a strong request for Maxus in the Northeast which has a much greater population density(they live like rats). It's much more likely for the lazy American culture to drive 45 miles instead of 450(that parameter confines you to the ant colony states). I do miss New England, though, despite it's archaically cramped residential areas.

Silver. Same ones that you have on your car, exactly the same. Only difference is the rotors. Which are waaaay to heavy, btw.
Flat Black would be best for performance since it radiates heat better than other colors. Helping to keep the calipers, pads, fluid & etc. cooler.
Only thing our old ***** are shaking is a microfiber towel and claybar spray bottle and if we break a sweat on that we shake our card thru the register to pay for it to get done
Great advice. But the whole point of this computer is upgrading performance without losing legacy support. I've got so much good old & specialty software stored on floppies & swappable ATA drives it'd be a long drawn out PITA converting it ALL to newer storage formats. The right MB has all that stuff & more built in & is $35. less than the wrong MB. Though virtually identical to the wrong MB marketed as a 'Gamer'/'Overclocker' board with Fatal1ty logos/seal of approval...BFD! Good news is the AMD-FX processor/watercooler works like a champ! Had burn in software running on all 8 cores w/16x64bit threads going & still had no slowdown doing other stuff. The water temp maxed @ 40C & the CPU temp read ~15C higher.
IDK. Finding an ATA/Floppy add in card for PCIE is virtually impossible (I looked). That said, the MB has 'untied' clock technology, which IIRC allows the various buses to run at different speeds. Not to mention the FSB/memory controller is on the CPU & independent from the MB. Also since the legacy support is on board it shouldn't affect other bus processes like an add in card might.

As for the rotors, I'm sure they're amazing to look at, and probably come into play real well now that you're going to the auto-cross.
The blank OEM BBK rotors are only impressive by their sheer size, and noting that the large rear rotors are vented just like the fronts. Other than that, there's no pop to the rotors the way yours have. I'm looking forward to the install pics, Tuner.
Lmao. So true. I found a dollar while packing my stuff getting ready to move into the new place and you would have sworn I struck oil by the look on my face.
