Why in FS do they (Nissan) only have this (CAN lines) with the AT's and not MT's?

That's going off of memory.
So going by this.. I can just take my AT lines that run from the TCM > harness > ECM and keep those in my swap. IIRC, they are in the loom, but completely seperate wires.

So going by this, MT wont have CAN in the NATS because that ECU is void of CAN? Meaning that the nesessary lines aren't in my harness.

In conclusion, I'm going to swap dash harness with ACK and run the car with all AT equipment, then jump the P/N switch like I have now. The car will basically be a MT swapped 5.5 gen. I will plug in the CAN system and all.

Yea man. I'm in no rush. It would be ideal for me to get a 6MT ECU. But since I have this ECU, key and ignition all from the same car right now, i'd rather just plug it all up as is and not have to wonder if this CAN ish will **** with me.

From the eperience CJ had with it, it's just better to plug it all up and run it like stock. But from what Nmex experienced, it will just throw some codes here and there but will run fine. Who knows, maybe nissan made some changes to how this system is programmed based on build date. I just don't want to end up with a car that's forever in limp mode.

Oh yea, aaron, I got some more info on that TB relay situation. It's alot easier than I imagined. I wouldn't swap over the entire front engine room harness only beacuse it becomes a pain once you get into the cabin. Just grab a spare blue relay from any maxima. 2 of the wires go to the ECU and the other 2 go to a 12v power source. Turn the key, hit the gas and watch the TB to make sure it works.

Or you can swap everything over and not worry about that if you want.

I can do that 4 wires is easy enough.

For some reason I though that sentence was going to end with "vagina".

Then we'd need an A34/Z33 ECU.

I totally think you have a point here.

Darren has a fairly extensive thread in AM about it. But wow, you almost got me excited being that I already have a PnP for a Z33/A34 ... I almost poo'd myself.

Might be like my Pathfinder, I plug in the Cipher and have almost no options do do anything, everything is grey'd out. Vs the Maxima where I at least have all options available with Cipher (not OSIRUS).

Speaking of which, some A34 member should jump on a deal on Altimas.net on OSIRUS.

Saw it this AM, 550$.

You should be able to use Osirus w/ the Pathy.

if not... Buy a Titan ECU from me and make it work w/ the pathy

yeah they should but we all know how extremely lame the 6th genners are (for the most part).
