As long as the tea in question was Milo's, it's understandable.

One more question about the G35. Do the 2002-2003 years have the same oil consumption problems as the 5.5 Maximas?

Did Clashez buy a 4th gen? He's on my ignore list so I wouldn't know. But it looks like his 'style'.
Or could it be one of his aliases looking for attention?

the 6mt version is the "REVUP" version, it's been known to have oil consumption issues, yes.
same/worse/better than the 5.5? Dunno enough to say. My impression is that the 5.5 had much worse oil consumption issues though, from the light reading I've done on it.

It wouldn't keep me away from the car, unless you plan to boost it with a stock engine. That REVUP engine is fun.

Gonna be an interesting game, for sure

Anybody have any guesses on how long until T.O. screws up here?

I wouldn't plan on boosting the car. It would be my DD. I have my 5th gen for that. I just wanted to get an Infinity to have along with my Max. And no, GH17, I've never heard anyone say HR before in reference to cars. But I don't really know a lot about these Japanese cars, I've always had VW's. I just sold my VR6, man I loved that car.

Gentleman, I need some opinions. Were i'm at right now, I could have an 03 G sedan within a month, OR if i were to wait a until end of next summer, I could purchase an 07 G35 Sedan. I really need some inputs. Neither will be kept stock, But I could have the 03 on rims and tires, full exhaust, and possible a super by next summer, or have a stock 07. Just looking for some feedback.

Rims & exhaust... whoopdidoo. Since you're wanting to mod the car yourself, start with the better baseline and a newer car. Wasn't 2007 the year the 300hp HR engine came out, along with LSD in the RWD sport package?
