The girl is somewhat crazy. Which is why I left her sorry a*s. She's a junkie, into pills and whatnot, and I didn't find out until we were four or five months into the relationship. She kept it hidden from me.
She's really got no goals for herself, other than getting messed up, and working a job like Wal Mart or Burger King. Had I realized this sooner, I would've hit the highway ASAP.
And all of that is why I'm still sort of in doubt, until I get complete confirmation. I wouldn't put it past her to try this to try and get me to stay around.
But, in the case that she IS. Well, the kid is going up for adoption. I'm not in the position to raise one, and she definitely isn't.

We all have our moments of lapses of judgment.
The girl I'm dating NOW is a good girl. She's going to school for medical, like I am. She's only had two serious boyfriends, and she's real about things. She doesn't drink but on occasion, and doesn't do any kinds of drugs.
She's got goals set for herself, and she's good with how she spends her money/plans for her future.

If it comes down to being the case, though, the kid will go to an adoptive family that can give it proper care, and a safe, stable home to grow up in. I won't have my kid growing up in an environment like she surrounds herself with.

Brett, I was joking about the adoption thing. I mean, I am actually adopted, but it was a jab at your vague news. Didn't realize you were actually going there with a girl claiming pregnancy. That's serious stuff.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Me either.
In hindsight, I really don't know WHAT I saw in her. I think it was more of a spur-of-the-moment kind of thing. An impulse that I shouldn't have chased.
Well. Live and learn.
'preciate it. I don't know what to think. The way she's gone about telling me makes me wonder if it's true or not. I would think if it was that serious, she would be more on top of figuring out if she really was or not.
It apparently took her two months of missed times of the months, a week and a half between, "I'm going to the clinic to find out first thing Monday," (this was a week ago) and telling me today. It just doesn't add up. If she really was worried about it, I'd think she'd be a bit more on top of finding out.

It's okay, John. I understand the jest in it. I'm not too worried. Even if she tries to fight to keep the kid as a thing to hold over my head, she won't have a chance in court.
She's living in house full of drug addicts (now...she wasn't before), doesn't even have her own home address, and is, like I said, an addict herself. Don't really think that would fly in any court with any level-headed judge.
Well, it's also been almost two and a half months since I left her. For her to bring this up now, who's to say she didn't go out and have herself a fling out of misery shortly after I left her?
