Just wanted let you guys know that Detroit Auto show named the Altima 2002 North American Car of the Year on Sunday.

It makes me feel so much better that it won over the CTS that my friend likes ( I think it's a POS, now I can rub it in his face )

Motor Trend must have been on crack. Just because a car looks cool and Retro, doesn't make it the Car of the year. If you read the article, they went on to bash just about everything about it. Suspension is soft, performance is adequate, can only hold two people, dash borrowed from the Lincoln LS. . .ect.
It would make more sense it the car had the Cobra engine in it for the same price. But for $40K and slower than a sentra SE-R, I will take my money elsewhere. The Altima just offers so much more for the money. Can't wait to see the next max.
