Nissan Altima : 2002 Car of the Year

Just wanted let you guys know that Detroit Auto show named the Altima 2002 North American Car of the Year on Sunday.

Good. It finally receives the accolade that it deserves

I dunno what the monkeys that work at Motor Trend were thinking in not naming it CotY.

Motor Trend

Motor Trend must have been on crack. Just because a car looks cool and Retro, doesn't make it the Car of the year. If you read the article, they went on to bash just about everything about it. Suspension is soft, performance is adequate, can only hold two people, dash borrowed from the Lincoln LS. . .ect.
It would make more sense it the car had the Cobra engine in it for the same price. But for $40K and slower than a sentra SE-R, I will take my money elsewhere. The Altima just offers so much more for the money. Can't wait to see the next max.

WTH!

the T-Bird will cost $40K???!!! no ****! I will take my money elsewhere too... you can get a corvette for around the same price! (if your not into imports)
