thanks for the comments dudes, i like it alot too.. i got the inspiration from ghustle and tunermax, you guys are definitely the pioneers of the design of these red and black tails! but man, i do kinda wish there was another option for led tails for our 5th gens though.. chrisman are you gonna go through with your retrofitting the 5th gen led tails brother? i would love to have some sequential turn signals!

i emailed hidillusionz a while back for a price quote for custom led tails and seq turn signals and they quoted me 500-1000 bucks

All you need is the module, under $100.

It's the custom LED part that costs so much, that's not a bad price, actually.

Ok So I finally ordered me a pair of these LED Taillights...When they come in
I will finally see the output of these in person. If they put out the same amount
of light as your picnik I will be happy ! Thanks alot for the pics

A rectangular array of LED's in a round assembly... doesn't that look odd to anyone else? It does to me.

I rather liked the lenses (unlit) when they were 100% red, particularly against the pearl white on that AE. It looks clean, and OEM (unlit). Whereas, wrapping black around the lens just looks like you're trying too hard to alter the looks of your car, and becomes something obvious.
