its easy to test your fuel pressure, your local auto parts store probably has a loaner pressure gauge.

what do u mean by "a pull the cable and nothing"? do your interior lights work? radio? does the motor try to turn over?

Could be a possible crank position sensor.

Could be a battery....since it hasnt been tested.

Test the battery first, thats the easiest and most likely problem.

Mine did that on and off since i bought it in July. It finally wouldnt turn over and died infront of my friends house. His dad is a repoman so he towed it to my driveway where I searched the forum and found that my starter is done. I, a 16 year old, replaced the starter by myself in the rain and it goes like a champ now. Long story short SEARCH THE FORUM. And im awesome, but thats besides the point.

I was going to also say the CPS (crank position sensor) or it could also possibly be the sensor at the top of the gas pedal, I have read a number of threads where starting issues was the result of that sensor at the top of the pedal and was an easy fix by swapping in a used gas pedal from someone parting out a car.

I just got done with a 2-year long hard starting ordeal.

Pay attention to what the engine does when it finally starts. Mine stumbled for a few seconds and rich black smoke came out for those few seconds. Turned out that my fuel pressure regulator and damper were bad. Then a week later the starter dropped dead because of all the extra cranking.
