Traction control and cruise control problem, help!

Traction control and cruise control problem, help!
Okay, so I had a bad right front wheel speed sensor not long ago, my cruise control and traction control off capability stopped working, i figured this was because of the speed sensor. So once I replaced it I was hoping for them both to come back to life... WRONG
My TCS off button does not turn off my traction control anymore so i am stuck with it stealing all my power in the snow and knocking my front end around... My cruise control also did not come back to life. I can light up "cruise" on the dash but it will not set, if I leave it on for a while the "set" light starts to flash at me.
I have hooked up my diagnostic rig and havent had any error codes besides a fuel level sensor intermittent.
Can anyone shed some light on this situation for me or perhaps tell me what I need to reset to get these two working again?
Thanks ahead of time

The cruise control is interlinked with various control modules in the car to prevent cruise control from working. Nissan considers these to be safety features. The traction control unit is one of them. Fix the traction control and the cruise control will probably work.
Tell us the year of the car and type of transmission and maybe we can help with the traction control problem.

It's a 2000 maxima and its the auto 4 speed transmission. The transmission has been having slow or hard shifts lately depending on throttle applied. Perhaps this is the cause? I have read into it and it sounds like the tranny needs a new solenoid. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You may need the solenoids, it is somewhat of an issue on these cars. But I don't think that has any bearing on the traction control issue. Two transmission problems at the same time makes me wonder. Maybe you should remove the oil pan on the trans and see if there is any metal shavings in there, which would very bad news.
Here is a link to a service bulletin about the solenoids:

The tranny fluid is good to go, no odd smells or shavings in it, Ive read a bit more into this problem and my money's on the solenoid. Anyone bought ebay solenoids?

I remembered this one post where a guy bought solenoids off e-bay. This was back in August and he hasn't come back with problems. Here's the link:

Note that the op did not the the solenoids he linked to in the original post. See the link in post # 4 for the ones he bought.
Here is another link with a how-to. I don't know if you've seen it or not.
