I'm on the same road I travel every single day without ever having a single issue. This road goes past a school, 25mph limit and all that..So I'm driving in left lane like always going 25 and almost at the end of school zone when some retard in a silver benz drifts right into me, only way to avoid him was making a pretty agressive move and swerving around him...

Next thing I know this idiot cop is giving ME a reckless driving ticket (thats a retarded misdemeanor in good ol VA), no cop has ever been there in 5yrs, but on this day it was just my luck. Never have I wished to have had a dash cam than on this day, its a real shame.
No way that is pathetic.. i had something similar happen in a school zone recently.. a lady decided to start going 10 mph in a 35mph zone because apparently i was too close for comfort. now, i never do this.. but for the sake of not being late for work because of the dingbat lady i cut thru a nursing home parking lot to try and get in front of her. She noticed this, blew a red light and started going ~50 just to get in front of me.. no matter, i thought.. because the School zone was coming up and theres 4 lanes of traffic, id be able to pass her there.. well she stayed in the right lane and as i passed in the left she swerved and forced me into oncoming traffic--school buses!! I dont get why people risk their own lives and others just to show that theyre pissed at you.

^^ Believe me, I feel your pain man.

People are always constantly competing, everyone wants to be first and everyone thinks they're better than the next guy. And it happens to be convenient, because they feel safe in their cars. This is why you dont see people cutting in line at the store, they know someone can knock them out when it's face to face. And lots of these same people are huge cowards.

I see this especially with minivans and trucks, they tend to floor it 90% of the time just to fit in with all the other regular cars speed, even though their van full of kids should clearly be going slower and they're insecure idiots. I saw a minivan almost crash the other night because the dumb fool was trying to take turns at the same speed as me IN THE RAIN with a van full of kids...he understeered and was lucky not to kill his whole family.

Meanwhile, most people I see with modded cars tend to be cool and dont do no stupid **** unless provoked by said idiots. Yet, us car guys/gals get THE most slack just because other people with stock cars seem to get butthurt that we know more and actually do work ourselves.

Thats my rant, sorry... can you tell yet hiw much this pisses me off?

I'll come back later with a story from a few hours ago, involving a yuppy douchebag in a Hyindai Genesis sedan.

Nice, thats gonna look great once done. In for finished pics

I've always wanted to fix my little dings and dents, and do a repaint sometime in future. If I do, I might just go for the majestic blue ...love that color

Oh Ateick owns a blue Maxima too eh

edit - did you fix that rear wheel well by actually cutting it out? I fixed mine the cheap way and it's already coming back. Someone also recently egged one of the doors

If it doesn't get cut out then that's what happens - it eventually comes back. What I did was I used the two front fenders from the donor car last year as new metal for my rear wheel wells. The arc is very similar so it makes for a much faster, cleaner job.

Chased a new 328 and didnt give him an inch to my surprise. Halfway through, my cracked front wheel well went flying 10 feet in the air. Fully exposed washer tank now.

Thanks! that strut bar used to be chrome and I made it blue...

No more painting in engine bay for now, time for more real mods, I have tons planned:

Engine mounts, new lightweight wheels, rsb that I really need but have still yet to get (maybe rstb also), new o2's, tint front windshield, clean up/paint underbody where needed after this long winter, ae pedals that I got laying around, new high flow cat or test pipe, and supercharger sometime down the road.

Me thinks I'm gonna start with RSB and engine mounts, then o2's and then will see lol

And btw your maxima is looking nice and shiny in that pic
Mine needs a fresh wax right bout now

Why?

I'd rather have a bolt on supercharger that was made specifically for the DE-K. Only 6psi but its more than enough for me. nice and reliable, plus only a few grand for SC vs $5k+ turbo build

Id rather do a SC + 5MT swap for the same price as a turbo

Honestly it doesn't look too bad

The wheel gap with the 16" rims is acceptable imo

Don't worry about that stuff, as long as you don't drop it more than 1.5" AND match it with proper struts (not stock) you'll be good. Without a front lip on you'll even clear (most) speed bumps with no problem like myself. I have slightly scraped bottom of front bumper a few times on some retarded way too high speed bumps tho

And I saw those ads for the SC's in classifieds, not ready to drop the dough yet lol....definitely gonna keep with the smaller mods like RSB for now...

Progress RSB here. I've never heard anything out of it. Absolutely silent.

How am I not surprised that George would have a problem with one.

Looking forward to seeing the details of that install. Thinking of doing something with a Galaxy Tab this summer but nothing too permanent. Just haven't figured out all the pieces to the puzzle yet.
