2000 SE Totaled or not
I have a 00 Max with 184k on the clock. I hit the rear of a tractor trailer. Looks like a need a new hood, two headlights, and a front bumper. The color is pearl white. Should I start car shopping? Thanks people!

If the frame is bent or not is also something we need to know.
Honestly.. It looks like it's be up to the insurance company purely from what I see. It looks repairable from the pictures.

I don't think the insurance company will total it. Like I said above, my wife's outback, older and with more miles, damaged worse than OP's, was not totalled by the insurance company.
But it does depend on who your insurance company is.

I would be surprised if this gets totaled. this is repairable and should not be totaled. new hood, bumper, headlights/fogs, and probbaly the front end will need to be pulled out/straightened.
sound like this is a perfect time to do an 02/03 upgrade.

If your insurance does total it and they might depending on where they get prices to get it repaired at since it is a 00.
I would definatley buy the car back from then which is common so they will know what to do and then just buy the parts for it and repair it your self.
If there isnt heavy damage under the bumper cover and the radiator support is good you will easily be able to fix it with money in your pocket.
Now on a side note your title will say salvaged now if you do buy it back from them but if your keeping it as a dd or toy there really no issue.

doesnt look that bad, if the frames okay but they total it as said you should buy it back and fix it yourself. 2 headlights, bumper, and maybe a hood would be no more than 2-3 hundred from a junkyard car or parts car
