Hi guys,

Didn't really find anything on this. My max when put in reverse sound of engine increases. What I mean by that there is more deep noise inside a car. Stuff just shakes. When in in neutral or drive it is fine. You put in reverse and you got this deep deep rumble sound. Plastic starts to rattle. I don't know if this is a sound of bad pillow or what. Any input would be greatlly appreciated.

Thanks

Could it be exhaust leak ?

Mine does this too, and it has so ever since the PUR mounts and NWP ETL. Might be an exhaust leak, maybe do a quick visual inspection for one.

I will do that when I have a minute. It just like exhaust is vibrating against frame on a car.

I had the same problem. I originally thought it was a motor mount. The heat shield on the catalytic converter was loose and the heat shield around the pipe that connects to the rear exhaust manifold was completely rusted off. The shield was just lying against the pipe. It was in two pieces.

I secured the heat shield on the converter with a nut and bolt and removed the other heat shield that had rusted off.

Either a motor mount or low on gear oil...actually when my 5speed emptied its gear oil the reverse whine was completely gone lol
