an other coolant problem if someone could please help.
OK so I found my problem with the bubbles in my overflow tank, it was a bad rad cap, so two weeks ago I was a little low on coolant so I topped it off, two weeks later today I checked the coolant in my radiator and my coolant was probably an inch low in the radiator so I topped it off again . Where could the coolant be going? I already checked for blown head gaskets so many times and still have no symptoms. I have noticed that sometimes I can smell coolant in the cabin but never see anything, could it be my header core? For the past two weeks I have been using the heater a lot so could that be where the coolant is going?

If you can smell coolant anywhere, that is not good, there must be a leak. Smelling coolant inside the passenger cabin is even worse. Under the hood, check around where the hoses go through the firewall to the heater core. If the leak is small, you may not see it dripping or moisture as it could evaporate very quickly. But when antifreeze dries, it tends to be a gray color, like you drove through a mud puddle.
Go rent a cooling system tester from autozone of some other auto parts store. Pressurize the system and see if it holds steady or drops.
And FYI, the coolant flows through the heater core all the time, you cannot shut it off. Changing the heat setting in the car only changes the air flowing through the heater core or not.
