rides bumpy

I have a 2000 maxima GLE and I think that the struts have gone bad. Every time I hit a bump, the car shakes. The wheel turns as well. What is an easy fix for this.

How many miles is on the car? And it is probably the struts. Mine was like that floating like a Cadillac, and every time I would hit a man hole or sewer hole would pull to the right or left. I would say do Coilovers, but don't know what your budget is like...

Struts are the likely culprit. Usually good for 60k miles, since they are the most abused part of the car that takes a pounding from all sorts of road condition.

Had the same issue when I first bought my I35. Would crash over bumps and could feel every part of the road in the cabin. I put in loaded struts so the rest of the hardware like springs, boots and mounts would be new as well.
