02 Maxima SE Radio and subwoofer problem
For a while now my subwoofer in my Bose radio cuts in and out. During cold weather, days that it rain, and when people are in my back sit it plays fine. What could be the problem, I've took out the subwoofer and check everything out, plugged it back in and it works forms while and cut back out. Next the front driver side speaker goes in and out when I listen to a cd. What could that be. And I notice when I press the brake it happens more often
Extremely common issues you are experiencing. The sub has a relay that goes bad that is in the attached amplifier. The cutout on the cd player is an issue that can be fixed by intrictate repair to the innards. Search 5th gen section for "bose cut out" "bose sub" etc.

^----What he said. If memory serves, there is a ribbon cable that connects to the radio unit that falls out. You may have to go behind and reconnect it, something similar happened to my girlfriends car when she listened to CDs.
