once again that person was me and that is the reason that i am buying your intake!!!!! i am gonna dyno it in 2-3 weeks to see a difference!!!

Well steve did back to back with stock vs fc intake. Thats how they showed their gains. I witnessed back to back dynos of stock vs stillen pop w/stillen exhaust on a 6spd. FC clearly put down more power. I will post pics tomorrow of one partial solution for pop and ram air intakes to compensate an actual cai. No biggie but works. 2.00 dollar add on mod with 2mins of work for your pop or ram.

When are Stage 3 and 4 going to be finished? If I get the stage 2 now, will I be able to upgrade to 3 or 4 without having to repurchase the whole thing? Any guesses on how much the 3rd and 4th stages are going to cost?

Yes, my car is completely stock and has 8700 kms on it right now. I plan on doing what Steve did, getting a stock dyno and then a FC intake dyno in the same hour. That will definitely tell me whether it was worth it or not. Hopefully next week one day it can be done.

Well I can tell you for fact that the stillen Pop on a 2k2 is very quiet. The stillen pop on a 2k1 is much louder than on a 2k2. I will post results of a stillen pop (I have one on my 2k1 now) and the FC when avail. Dyno and sound results.

DMB,

I have a very similar setup on a '99 Jeep Grand Cherokee ltd w/V8 and I know that once I added the intake it was much louder and sounded more powerful. My question is how much louder versus stock is your intake. I read a post that Stillen's is louder on a 2001 versus 2002 is yours much louder than Stillen's? I have a 2002 SE 6spd on order.

Thanks.

20 Maxima 02...Regarding the dynos, be sure you are taking into account the differences in loss of power b/w the wheel and crank when comparing intakes (i.e. Auto vs. Manual).

MaximaGirl02...I love my Stillen, performance and looks, but the price sucks. Franken's intake seems the way to go for price/performance combo. I understand that CAI's can suck water up...but, aren't you in Arizona? Good luck.
