Stock bose sub cut off problem

Hey everyone. I'm pretty new to this group but I drive an 01 Nissan Maxima 20Th AE. For some reason while I'm playing any type of music, my stock Bose sub will just cut off at random times. It will come back on if I literally go in the back of my trunk and hit the sub with my fist and/or if I go over rough bumps while driving. It'll stay on for about 2 minutes till it cuts off again. Does anyone know how to fix it or where I could buy a new stock sub? I'm pretty sure it's the relay but I need some help here. It would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

Very common. The fix is easy, involves replacing (soldering) a couple capacitors (or resistors)? within the amp. Search and you'll find the how-to.

I'm not familiar with soldering and I'm scared I'm going to mess something up.. I might just buy a new stock sub...

It's not that bad. Very simple fix. Here's the link.

Perhaps take it to an electronics shop or a friend to do the repair. If you buy another sub, it might have the same exact problem.
