RSX Type S i dont think is really any faster than the previous ITR. And ITRs with I/H/E run low-mid 14s, and we've seen 2k2 6spd Maximas running low-mid 14s stock, so looks like we have a winner.
I like the sound the VTEC 4bangers make, well with an intake anyway, they at least SOUND faster than us.

For some of us... when we think of the word race, it makes us think of tracks with curves on them.

That's the european version. Different tuning.
The RSX Type S isn't an R replacement. It's a GSR replacement. It's heavy, its suspension is only OK, its got leather interior... the list goes on. Wait for the R, it should be more impressive.

Incidentally, there are not too many Maxima's on the SCCA - Speedvision World Challenge Series
Touring.

True the RSX Type S is not an ITR replacement, but in straight line performance they are almost equal, although my friend has run a 14.6 with his Type S i still think its slower than the ITR. And thats still slower than a 2k2 Maxima 6spd.

Couldn't have put it better myself, Tiger. (Matter of fact, the prev. ITR was about 200lbs+ lighter than the GSR.)

That's true about the SCCA, but I still feel like I have enough skills to punish any regular honda or fancy honda (acura) on straight ways or curves and then after that go pick up the family in style and comfort.
