Just alternator issue?

Okay, about two weeks ago my car let off the brake light and battery light, Which is naturally an alternator, but it also lost a lot of power upon acceleration. Now when I started the car and it was cold it drove fine but as it warmed up it wouldn't go anywhere, so I have no idea if it's just the alternator or if it could possibly be something else, but I didn't start having this issue until my alternator crapped the bed. What could this possibly be?

Get the alternator replaced and when the electrical system is at full power, the car will perform better.

I'm hoping that fixes it, just got a replacement so I'll be installing it tonight or tomorrow. Like o said it didn't start doing this until the alternator went

You were right, the acceleration is just fine now. It was just the alternator

I had same problem but I got no lights. Loss all power to the xmission and killed my battery. Replaced with new Alt and new batt. I now use a LED light that indicates charge.
