p0011 (yes another one)

So I replaced my rear valve cover with a 6gen version to get rid of the oil burning. 3 days later, I throw a p0011 and hear the rattle/chatter of what I thought was poor oil flow.

So I started with an oil flush. I thought some dust or sludge may have been introduced causing an intake valve to stay open- did the flush and changed oil with Mobile1- light is still there.

Next I will try the camshaft position sensor and the crankshaft position sensor. If that doesn't work- I'll check the Intake Valve Control Solenoid.

Hopefully I will be SES free after that.

I know many have had this issue before but the threads are kind of weak. Please post you experiences or advice and I will keep this thread updated.
