Driver side wheel stuck after

Whats up Max fam. I replaced my front drivers side caliper, pads and rotor today with brand new parts on my '02 Maxima. That caliper seems to be stuck now when i tried to drive. I took the wheel off again and removed the caliper piston bolts...the caliper comes off without an issue. The wheel spins when I turn it by hand, but not as free as the passenger side spins. I hand tightened all caliper bolts(no torque wrench yet, should be delivered tomorrow) and I did the gravity bleed. What could possibly be the issue?? Thanks in advance

Check the caliper slide pins. They could be seized up due to rust and/or lack of grease.

so you put a whole new caliper set on as in new caliper AND bracket? because only a seized caliper piston or slide pins will cause drag like you describe

also you dont need to torque the bolts with a torque wrench, just put them snug as you can with a ratchet

That's exactly right. Brand new caliper and bracket. Also brand new rotor and brake pads. Everything went on without a problem. After I attempted to move the car the first time and it stuck, I took the wheel off again, removed piston bolts and caliper comes off without any resistance. I also compared the old rotor worth the new one, they're the same size.

I did check the caliper pistons....they're fully greased and move freely.

I replaced the rear calipers rotors and pads last week and didn't have this problem. I'd what else it could be

update

So I removed wheel, caliper and rotor. I have the entire front lifted on jack stands. I started car and the passenger wheel still spins freely. The driver side started to spin, but not ad fast or free as the passenger side. I just got wheel hub, bearing and driver side axle changed on Friday at a mechanic. Could one of those possibly be faulty?

Also, looking at the inside of the caliper it seems as if the rotor was rubbing on the top of the caliper

That could be your problem. When it is all put together, do you see any gap between the caliper and rotor? Maybe the caliper is not the right one.

Well...I figured it out y'all. The new caliper bracket is somehow too small. It bolted on fine, but I didn't notice it was seated on the rotor. I put the old bracket back on and no more dragging so far. The caliper fits fine and seems to be working well. Thanks for the help and advice fam. I'm fairly new to the Max game, but I love these cars and like to work on them on my own...will be looking to y'all for more advice in the future. Thanks again
