Heated Cloth Seats (Factory -2000 2001 maxima)

Anyone out there has heated cloth seats. I've worked on many many maxima's and only came across one.

Wrong section, but they're as rare as BMW cloth seats. I highly doubt you'll ever find one again lol

Can be done but its work as I custom made mines, I have A gle with the heated seats option and got sick of the ripped beige leather, so I removed the heat pads and put them in some nice 02 cloth ones....side air bags too . I did my whole interior black from ugly tan....just carpet and roof liner need to be done now...but it don't bother me as it looks like it belongs with the black panels and dash, seats etc.. might one day put A black carpet...saw one online for our cars.

HOw do you remove the heat pads? I have an 02 i35 with the tan leather interior, saw a grey one in the junkyard with the black interior, heated front, rear, and steering wheel. I have the switches for the heated seats, but thats it.

I'm curious too. My 03 auto has heated seats and steering wheel. I just gave my daughter that car for her birthday. My 03 manual has black leather but doesn't have heat. I jumped in my car the other morning. It was only 34°F out and the first thing I did after starting the car was to turn on the heated seats but there wasn't a switch for it . I need to rectify this......

Won't work unless you have the switches, thats how I did mines....i'm sure its possible tho if you get the switches and have them wired into the car by someone.

First I would check if the switches have A connector under them and are wired....lift them up with A flat head and look.....if they are then maybe the old owner just swapped seats with non heated ones or the heat pads are ripped somewhere or the wiring\fuse\ needs to be checked. Unless they only put the switches only which I doubt. Should be plug and play if you get the right seat....look at the connector and make sure its the same as yours if ypu do get the black seats....you will have to remove ur driver seat take A good pic of the connector and check the ones you want to make sure it works.....mines was cloth with no heat options so that why i had to swap the pads and all....you won't have too as you said it has heat already.

Here you go...d1cking around by installing one is a PITA. You are best to try and find a seat that you can swap as there are plugs for it under the seat.

But...for the number of times you would use it? Maybe just get this...
