Six speed swap

Six speed swap
Need a list of all the parts necessary for a proper six speed swap. I just want a checklist of everything I need so when I get there I have it. Going from auto to six speed on a 2002.

Yea but I need quick turn around. I'm driving with two 1/2 won't shift into 3/4. Got a weird code thru nissan for 1st gear function. I have 1st though. It's like it falls out of second into neutral when it's supposed to be shifting into 3rd.

Did you try a solenoid cleaner in the trans?

Here's what I did. I had the pan off twice. Not a tremendous amount of shavings but more than I saw previously. So I cleaned pan up took that bulls**t filter off cleaned that real good and sprayed at least one closer to two bottles of electric cleaner and really made sure valve body and solenoids got a good cleaning. At this point I'm not sure if I want to keep throwing money at stuff unless I knew for sure the problem. You know what I mean? Spare parts car would be great but not something I can do right now.

Anyone know if the ecu is necessAry to swap to get the cAr up and running?? Not worried about cel right now. I'm looking for what parts I need to have this car driving again

Unplug your tranny and you'll have your definitive answer (no reason it shouldn't run fine).
Now, I've read on other cars about unplugging the TCM or clipping a wire that disables it and won't throw a code. Idk if it applies here, but interesting.

So nobody can give me a list of all necessary parts to swap auto to six speed in 5.5 gen? I read through the link supplied but it's for 4th gen 5 speed one of them doesn't have abs. So I'm not sure it's the same. I'm looking for a list so I can go over it with donor car.

Honestly?? It's sooooooo much easier if you have a parts car to pretty much transplant everything over. The parts list isn't too bad, but if you bought all the parts separately itd take a while as well as be a big pita I've done the swap ecu and all, because Ontario sucks for etest BS.
Like I said though I had a parts car, picked it up for cheap with hlsd. Made money off the sale of parts locally and still have some left. The good ones i kept for myself.

You will forever have hole in the shifter area which is noisy but a good thick shifter boot will fix that problem.
Get a parts car or you'll kill yourself
If the parts car is not HLSD then there's two options
-- find a Spec V transmission from a Sentra, swap the internals over.
-- Find a generation 6 maxima HLSD transmission somewhere
Info on the different transmission options

I had shop do the conversion using spec v parts and it's got more "guts" for city but highway is annoying due to high rpm causing exhaust drone...
