Supercharger build

I have another vq30 that imy putting in my max this winter and I'm putting a supercharger on it. I plan on running around 15psi max! I wanted to know if it will be safe to run stock internals. I was told I should be safe just getting brand new stock internals. Is this true? Or will I be putting a new engine in my car a month down the road? Thanks!

That's up to you if it'll last.
15psi you're going to make about twice the power.
So basically it comes down to if you have enough octane

I'm more a turbo guy but boost is boost right. I think at 15psi, on a supercharger with no way to raise and lower boost you're pressing your luck. You're going to be running 15 psi all the time. With a turbo you can run 8 psi and then if I need a little more for a few thousand feet I can turn it up to 15 psi. After I'm done I can turn it back to 8 psi. With a blower you're kinda stuck at 15 psi unless you switch your pulley. I personally wouldn't run 15 psi of boost in my car full time on stock internals. I'd run 10 maybe 12 but as I said I have the ability to turn up or down very easily. Just my 2 cents. I think you'll be breaking something.

Leave the small pulley and control the boost. Why sacrifice A LOT of power everywhere except redline?

If you're not spinning the S/C as fast as possible, then you're just wasting potential power. Why even bother with such a crappy wind up that a low psi pulley would bring?

You'll probably be fine as long as the parts used are quality and the tune is on point.

Ok. Thanks for the help! Now, do you guys know where I can buy internals for the vq30? All the places I've looked at make them for the vq35.

I know JWT seems to be a popular choice for cams for the 3.5 guys who can use 350z stuff. I think theyve got stuff for the 3.0 too.

All the forged pistons/rods for 3.0 have to be custom, a few of my customers have asked for quotes and it is literally more than building a 3.5 and swapping it in.

15psi with a blower will be fine on stock motor if you have healthy compression. Just have enough fuel and a good tune.
